Product Description
Water Softening Plant is a water treatment system that is used to remove the minerals, mainly calcium, and magnesium, that cause hardness from the water. Water-softening plants use a process called ion exchange to remove the hardness-causing minerals from the water. The hard water is passed through a resin bed containing ion exchange resin beads. The resin beads are made up of sodium ions that are exchanged with the calcium and magnesium ions, removing them from the water.
